Since the streaming service welcomed the entertainment firm on April 1, WWE has been sweeping the internet. Since then, WWE has increased its marketing efforts to inform the public that they can now see their favorite moments from both the past and present in one location. During the PR campaign, comedians Rohan Joshi and Aaditya Kulshreshth joined WWE superstars Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan on Netflix India’s YouTube page, where the wrestlers sample Indian food while responding to questions.
Dominik Mysterio states up front that he would not answer any inquiries concerning his father, Rey, a well-known WWE wrestler. He talks about how a storyline in WWE when he was a child caused some people to wonder who his biological father was. The most bizarre thing I heard as a child, I believe, was that Eddie Guerrero was my father. I would get questions from teachers about how things were at home and whether I knew who my father was.
In reference to one of WWE’s earlier plots, Dominik mentions a rivalry between his father Rey and WWE legend Eddie Guerrero over custody of Dominik.
Morgan ate a lot of Indian food with the unmasked Mysterio, and he was so fond of butter chicken that he unintentionally swore with pleasure. However, Rohan calmed him down and remarked, “That is exactly the kind of honest review we want,” and he immediately apologized for his words. While enjoying chaat, garlic naan, and gulab jamun, the couple talked about their early years and their WWE careers.
In her discussion of the development of the women’s division, current WWE tag-team champion Liv Morgan said that women were viewed as “eye candy” rather than real rivals when she was growing up. “When I started 10 years ago, we were on the verge of starting our women’s revolution, which was pretty much equal treatment to men, the same segments and screen time as them and more championships to fight for.”
Dominik will attempt to defeat three other men for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41, while Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez will defend their tag team title.
This weekend, April 19 and 20, WrestleMania will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and will be streamed live on Netflix. John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns will be the two main events at WWE’s 41th anniversary celebration of the legendary pay-per-view event.
