The CMF Phone 2 Pro, a sequel to the CMF Phone 1 from the previous year, is not scheduled to ship on April 28 under its CMF sub-brand. The phone’s rear camera unit is displayed in the most recent teaser. It has been announced that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will come with a triple rear camera setup, which includes an ultra-wide camera and a telephoto sensor. The CMF Phone 1 was notable for having two rear cameras. In the meantime, CMF has previously verified that a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor would be included in the Phone 2 Pro.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Camera Details Revealed
The camera unit of the CMF Phone 2 Pro is revealed in an official teaser from Nothing on X (previously Twitter). The low-cost smartphone will include a triple rear camera set that includes a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with two optical zooms and a 50-megapixel 1/1.57-inch sensor. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a field of view of 119.5 degrees is also part of the camera arrangement.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro’s camera system would represent a major improvement over the CMF Phone 1’s dual rear camera array, which included a portrait unit and a 50-megapixel primary Sony sensor.
CMF Phone 2 Pro is confirmed to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset that is claimed to deliver a 10 percent faster CPU and up to 5 percent graphics improvement as compared to CMF Phone 1. The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro is likely to be an iteration of the Dimensity 7300, which powered the Phone 1. The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro has a sixth generation NPU with up to 4.8 TOPS AI computing power.
The handset is advertised to provide 120fps (frames per second) for BGMI gaming and 1,000Hz touch sampling rate. The CMF Phone 2 Pro is teased to have a thin and lightweight design.
On April 28, the CMF Phone 2 Pro will be revealed. Alongside the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus earbuds, it will be unveiled. Akis Evangelidis, president of India and co-founder of Nothing, recently disclosed that a charger will be included with the phone. Additionally, a transparent protective back cover will be included with the box.
