Ukraine claimed today that a Russian missile had hit the Kyiv facility of an Indian pharmaceutical company. Russia allegedly “deliberately” targeted Indian companies in Ukraine, according to the nation’s embassy in India.
“The Indian pharmaceutical business Kusum’s storage in Ukraine was hit by a Russian missile today. Moscow intentionally targets Indian companies while claiming a “special friendship” with India, damaging medications intended for the elderly and children, according to Ukraine’s embassy.
One of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in Ukraine is Kusum, which is owned by Indian entrepreneur Rajiv Gupta. According to insiders who spoke to NDTV, the company’s products are essential throughout Ukraine since they guarantee the availability of necessary medications. They claimed that the facility was struck directly by a drone rather than a missile.
Martin Harris, the British ambassador to Ukraine prior to Kyiv’s posting, claimed that Russian strikes had destroyed a large pharmaceutical company’s storage in Kyiv. However, Mr. Martin added that Russian drones, not missiles, were responsible for the attack.
Russian drones attacked a large pharmaceutical facility in Kyiv this morning, burning supplies of medications that children and the elderly require. In a post on X, Mr. Martin stated, “Russia’s terror campaign against Ukrainian civilians continues.”
Today, a Russian missile struck the warehouse of Indian pharmaceutical company Kusum in Ukraine.
